Pianist, Julia Mann was born in France where she graduated and obtained her diplomas:Premier Prix de Piano (Conservatoire National d’Issy-les-Moulineaux). Premier Prix de Musique de Chambre (Conservatoire National d’Issy-les-Moulineaux).Médaille d’Or de Formation Musicale (Conservatoire National de Roubaix). Diplôme d’État de Professeur de Piano (Ministère de la Culture). 

At the Conservatoire Superieur de Paris, she undertook her postgraduate studies in Early music, specializing in the art of interpretation on period instruments (pianoforte and clavichord) and received the precious lessons of the concertist Patrick Cohen.

At the same time, she completed her academic training: Licence de Musique (Université de la Sorbonne) and Master in Social Sciences/ musique (École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales).

In 2002, she founded the Ensemble Correspondances in Paris (Voice, violin, violoncello, piano). 



Contemporary repertoires and sound experimentation, performance and multiartistic cross-over are currently focus of hes researches. She works closely with composers to present many internationals Premieres.

Arriving at Buenos Aires, she joined in 2014 the Ensemble Voxes Contemporánea with which she recorded an album at Discográficas Del Sur. 

She holds the 20th century Chamber Music Chair at the National University of Lanús since 2014.She coordinated the Sound Arts Department of the Instituto de Artes Mauricio Kagel at the National University of San Martin (2016-2018).

Her recitals and concerts as a chamber musician took her from Paris to South America. She performs in chamber and contemporary music concerts on the stages of Buenos Aires, Santa Fe, at the International Music Festival of Santiago de Chile, at the International Contemporary Music Festival of La Habana (Cuba).

She collaborates as a musicologist and music critic with the argentinian newspaper Infobae.
